My Story
Hi I'm Amy! I have been a Dietitian for more than 6 years now. I have a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and a Master of Arts in Multidisciplinary Health Communication, both degrees from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, MO. I have learned that lifestyle changes are hard but by using behavior change processes and helping clients work through the stages of change, they can be successful!
I always knew I wanted to be in the medical field and that I loved helping people (minus the blood and guts) which lead me to here! I've worked in long-term care for most of my career but I'm ready to make a change in others' lives and help people to be healthy and prevent illness and disease rather than just treat them. I believe that people shouldn't live their lives feeling like they're on a "diet" and it is totally possible to find a balance!

This is my happy place, that's right, my kitchen! It's my favorite room in our house and I love to whip up meals and try new things, even if my family isn’t always a fan. I believe that you CAN make healthy foods taste great without getting bored and that what we feed our bodies can change our whole well-being.
Being a dietitian isn't my entire life though, I'm also a busy wife and mom of 3 little ladies and I 100% get that life gets busy and making changes can. be. hard, but don't worry I can relate, and help you overcome those obstacles!
